Frequently Asked Questions:
What are the differences between Therapy, Consulting, and Coaching?
Therapy focuses on mental health and emotional healing. It addresses psychological issues, trauma, and deep-rooted emotional patterns. Therapists are trained to diagnose and treat mental health disorders, offering a supportive space to explore past experiences and present difficulties. The aim is often to heal emotional wounds and improve psychological well-being.
Consulting is centered on providing expert advice to solve specific problems within a business or organization. Consultants analyze challenges, offer recommendations, and sometimes implement strategies to improve efficiency, operations, or outcomes. The relationship is typically project-based and results-oriented, focusing on the client’s external context rather than personal development.
Coaching is a forward-looking process that supports individuals in achieving personal or professional goals. Coaches facilitate growth by helping clients clarify objectives, develop skills, and enhance performance. Unlike therapy, coaching does not primarily address psychological issues but focuses on motivation, accountability, and practical strategies for change.
